snori , It sounds like your living and dying here . I've been there . I know . You have 28ish hours to wait . Are you going to make it ? Do you really think that we will beat you ?
Stupid question # 4 - Could a match (?) end in a tie , w/ point scoring like the NHL ( that would be hockey , and the only sport similar I could think of )

At this stage of the tournament matches (like the opener this afternoon) can end as a draw. The opening stage is a set of 8 mini-leagues and the top two teams in each mini-league go through to a series of knock-out rounds ie 16 teams, 8, 4, Final. These games cannot end in a draw - if the scores are level at the end of normal time (90 minutes), an extra 30 minutes is played. If the scores are level at the end of that time a penalty shoot-out takes place to decide the winner.

If anyone would like further explanation or would be interested in how the 'Offside Rule' is applied, it will have to wait until I get back from the pub.

Quick - someone explain the infield fly rule to those heads across the pond.
